FISH LAKE DEMO
Fish Lake focuses on fractions (including word problems) and teaches about Ojibwe culture. Watch out for poisonous snakes! Make your way down the rapids. Find enough food for your village’s survival. Figure out “what’s fair.” Who knew you could get this excited about fractions? Grades 4 and up. Mac and Windows computers and iPad.

Forgotten Trail

Two teenagers set out to prove they are “anything but ordinary” as they retrace their ancestors’ route of the Ojibwe migration, a journey that will take Sam and Angie through the U.S. and Canada. They’ll need to rely on their knowledge of fractions, decimals, measurement and statistics and their elders’ teachings if they have any chance of making it all the way to the end.
