If you would like your students to take a practice test on Number and Operations, Base 10 Standards, you can use the link below. This test should be taken after they have played through the Spirit Lake and/or Making Camp games.
When we say that students who played our games improved 3 times as much as the control group, this is the test we used.
If your school uses our games, you are welcome to send us an email and we will send you a report giving the mean scores on the test and by item. If you’d like a comparison of pre-test and post-test scores, simply have your students take the test before they start playing the game and take it again after they have finished. Usually, students play for 8 weeks, two one-half hour sessions each week.
Schools who purchase our games have access to automated reports where teachers can enter individual student’s names and get detailed reports.
