Content
Educational game design basics and hands-on practice using the 7 Gen Blocks no-code game developer (choose this if you have no code experience) or the low-code blocks (choose this if you want to use blocks that require some knowledge of HTML and Javascript). All participants will get the 10-block demo version of the game builder.

Delivery method
On-site option is available for schools in California and Minnesota. For other states, training is available over Zoom.
One session is available free per district.

Axolotl Adventure
This game is a short ‘warm-up game’ used to introduce a cross-curricular lesson in science and English language arts.
It teaches about the impact of invasive species and habitat destruction on the axolotl population in the wild and addresses CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.5.4 Determine the meaning of general academic and domain-specific words and phrases in a text relevant to a grade 5 topic or subject area.
I made it over a weekend in between grandchildren visiting.
