Our funding so far

Update: Thank you all for backing our games! Our games are providing indigenous and Latin communities with math learning resources.

Startups are expensive. We haven’t just been working just on the game, but also on getting the money to cover business and development expenses.

We received a $99,900 grant in 2012 and are in the process of submitting two additional grant proposals. We have our fingers crossed that proposals those will be funded. (Hint, hint, Institute for Educational Science folks, if you’re reading this page.)

We won’t hear about additional funding until the end of the summer. Either way, we’re moving ahead with this game. The Julia Group has put about $50,000 of our own money and another $50,000 worth of unpaid time into this game in the last 12 months.

We would love to devote ourselves to the project full time, but we still need to pay the bills. The more money we get from this campaign, the more time we can put into the game.

We are also working on a Kickstarter campaign to be launched very shortly. Make sure to check back here for updates.

If you want to invest, please get in touch. You can reach us by email or at 310-717-9089. (If you just want to give us money, we’re up for that as well.)
