Unite 2014 and my second day of Evrybit testing

Being an entrepreneur means multi-tasking, so here I am for the second day beta-testing evrybit, attending the Unite 2014 conference and writing this blog while Diana, our blogging intern, is off doing intern things.

As far as beta testing, it is good for me to do it for other products because it reminds me what we are asking our testers – that is, to interrupt their regular schedule to work with our software which may still have issues. One benefit for me is that I can look from the other side, as a user.
As you can see from my evrybit story, I didn’t figure out how to edit text in the application. Maybe that is a feature, but it wasn’t readily apparent to me.

I’m pretty sure there is a way to edit text after submitted to the site, but I don’t see where to do that, either. So, my first suggestion to our friends at evrybit is to add more documentation.

If you look at our site, you might think I’m a hypocrite but, in fact, while I’m in Seattle, Ryan has been working on a complete re-design of the site, with Jessica pulling together all of the content (and we have a lot) , including teacher resources, documentation and tech support. I can’t wait to see it when I get back.

As far as our games, I have gotten so many ideas on where we could go and what we could improve, I’m actually taking the morning to work on those before hitting the session on 2D practices this afternoon.
