Do you know how many times we’ve heard people say “There just aren’t any Latinos in tech”? Every time this happens, we at 7 Generation Games wave our hands and say, “Hey what about us over here?” (Well, actually AnnMaria waves her hands, stands on a chair and grabs a bullhorn…) As do our friends at Sabio. And at Evrybit. And look, you get the point.
To drive this home, we’re hosting another “Latinos in Tech” meetup during Hispanic Heritage Month just like we did in 2015! Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at LoterĂa! Grill on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
Our event is open to anyone! You don’t have to be Hispanic, but interest in tech is a big plus. For the first 30 attendees, the first drink is on us. So come out and join us for food, drinks, cool people and more. (Also, it’s family friendly.)
